A Really Good Day

Yesterday day started off well. I went searching for microbeads and thankfully found none, went searching for spaghetti worms and found a lot (I think I caught maybe four so I guess I’m an expert now), and went searching for good times and found plenty. While all that was fine and dandy, what really made the day was the night. I was taking a shower and right when I got out Natali came to the door and invited me down to the dock. She intrigued me with tales of bioluminescence and beautiful stars, so I ran out in just my towel. Once I got there I realized I needed my glasses (sometimes I forget I can’t see) so I literally ran back up to retrieve them, along with some clothes. The glasses were worth the hike because the sky was indescribably mesmerizing. Imagine sitting on an island dock under a night sky so clear that the Milky Way itself is visible while bioluminescent organisms twinkle below you and lightening occasionally covers everything around you in a pure white light. Not to mention the frequent shooting stars. This is the only night I will describe as truly magical because I have no other words for it.
