Beach Clean Up

Today was the beach clean up, where we hiked to the village and cleaned up debris and litter found there.  We went to the school and were paired up with the children there who cleaned alongside us.  It made we wish that I had taken Spanish in college, as I had a bit of difficulty communicating with the child that I was paired up with, although we were still able to work together without any issue.  There was a lot of trash collected, but unfortunately a lot left still.  The reason for this is because storms cause the trash to be washed up into the village from other islands and the mainland.  This is unfortunate, and causes one to wonder how the issue could be resolved.
