Learning Underwater Photography

Above pictured is a flamingo tongue snail, or C. gibbosum, feeding.  It was much harder taking pictures underwater than on land.  Due to several factors, such as holding your breath, remaining at an even depth, figuring out the appropriate distance, etc.  Today another challenge was added: jellyfish.  Due to rains yesterday and strong winds, there were jellyfish almost everywhere I looked in the water, something I am decently afraid of.  However, I was able to take the pictures that I needed and check on the surveys that I have set up.
