One of the fabulous features of Turtle Bay Eco Resort is that is comes with a resident puppy (it's not polite to ask a lady's age), who is the object of everyone's crazy pet love for the time that we are here. The name of this puppy is Kona and she is insane. How could you call such a sweetie that? Well, for starters, if you try to actively give her attention, she will actively ignore you. Personally, she has snubbed me countless times and I have taken up turning my back to her whenever I see her...maybe I'll win her favor by reverse psychology. I do have to say, when she met me, she immediately licked my toes, so maybe she didn't like the way that they tasted...
Among Kona's talents are swimming, jumping off the dock, swimming, boating, finding rocks for you to throw and for her to not fetch, swimming, and moping outside of the bar where she is not allowed. Hah. Can't get me now, dog. She also goes on hikes with those who venture into the forest to explore the area. I guess that's one of her winning features. May Kona one day come to love me, but for now, I remain an outcast.
