First impressions of the reef

There are so many different organisms in the reef and every time I go out I find something new. That's really exciting for me and I love taking pictures of the cool things I see to identify later. There are all kinds of corals, sponges, and worms. My favorite organisms so far have to be the eel and the baby octopus. The Christmas Tree Worms are stunning and they are everywhere. I love looking at all of their different colors. When we were searching for snails to mark their shells to identify them later, I reached for a shell and I was stung by something. I don't think it was the shell itself but something around it. We have seen jellyfish but they don't sting. So I'm still wondering what stung me. I'll attach some of the pictures I've taken so far.
