Hi there!
Yesterday afternoon, Lauren and I suited up for a dive in
honor of my new favorite holiday: Women’s Dive Day. We ended up heading to a site named
Aggressor, and it certainly did not disappoint.
The walls of corals and sponges were breathtaking, and we saw a massive spotted
drum, lookdown, and several Atlantic spadefish, to name just a few species that
I was stoked about.
Also, the dive was significant in that we broke 100
feet for the first time! I think my gauge read a max depth of about 106 ft. Pretty exciting. Anyways, here are a few pictures (that do not do the
reef justice whatsoever):
My post-breaking 100 feet selfie (I promise I was more
excited than I look)
Because who doesn’t bring their Polaroid camera onto the
dive boat? (Lauren does.)
I’m super grateful for stunning reefs and rad friends to
dive them with. Happy (now belated)
Women’s Dive Day everyone!
Thanks for reading,
Dara

If I can't scuba then what's this all been about? What am I working toward?
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Dara and Lauren! Sounds like you are making the most of your Honduras experience. Loving all the pix.
