I'm Trying

Today was my first day taking underwater photos and it turns out I'm really bad at it. I almost did not even go out because the winds brought in a bunch of jellyfish, but after I stopped frantically searching for them, I had a lot of fun taking pictures. Maybe too much fun. I got so distracted that I almost went too far on the reef, but thankfully Kristin was there to be the voice of reason. Anyway, here are some of the critters I was able to capture.

A giant anemone with a blurry spec that I think is a squat anemone shrimp

Scrawled cowfish swimming away because I was too scary

Peacock flounder that was trying to act like I was not hovering over it

This one

French angelfish that was also scared of me

This sneaky ray at the coast

One of the many ctenophores that tormented me
